When is the application deadline?
The application deadline is 15 November 2017.

When is the deadline for sending English test results?
The deadline for sending English test results is 1 January 2018.

Can I take part in the entrance examination if I have not yet submitted my English test results?
Yes, the deadline on which we should have received your English test results is 1 January 2018. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, we will need both sufficient results for English test and entrance examination before 1 January 2018.

When is the deadline for doing entrance examination?
The deadline on which we should have received the results of examination is 1 January 2018.

When will I be informed about the entrance examination and the material to be studied?
Soon after you have received your conditional admission letter, you will receive a separate e-mail with more information.

When will the interviews be held?
The interviews will be held in January 2018.

When is the outcome of the fellowship selection?
We expect the outcome beginning of February 2018.

Do I need to arrange accommodation myself if I am selected?
No. IHE Delft, has student accommodation available and will provide further details in case you are selected.

When will I be informed about the outcome of my application for admission?
After you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation mail of receipt. You will be informed about the outcome of your application in about 6 weeks after you have submitted it.

What are the requirements for the recommendation letters?
We prefer one recommendation letter from your current employer (if available) and another one from the university you graduated from. Recommendation letters have to have an official letterhead and need to be signed and dated.

What are the requirement for the motivation letter?
In maximum 500 words (1 page) clearly explain why you are applying for admission to the programme. Make sure that your motivation is unique and impresses the reader.

What if I am not able to find funding for the academic year I am admitted to?
If you have received provisional admission, but have not been selected for a fellowship, your provisional admission remains valid for the next academic year, and you may submit a new application. You will have to apply again for admission to the Master Programme with your user account (https://www.un-ihe.org/user/login). Our new Student Information System does not allow transferring admissions from one year to the next. 

Can I apply for multiple programmes at the same time?
In case you have already applied for admission and have been accepted to one of the 18 months MSC programmes in 2017-2019, but have not been able to secure funding, you may also apply for the 1 year programme.

Do I have to apply for the visa and resident permit myself after I have been selected?
No. Once you have been selected, we will send you documentation for the visa and resident permit application. The documentation has to be completed and returned to IHE Delft. A residence permit will generally be issued for the duration of your study programme.

What are certified copies?
Authenticated or certified copies are copies with an official stamp to verify that the copies are true copies of original documents. This official stamp may be from one of the following: a solicitor/notary, the educational institution from where you gained the diplomas or the local council/local authority/local government office.
