How to apply

IHE Delft accepts applications all year round and free of charge. On this page you can find more information on how to apply for a Master Programme, Short or Online Course. 

Check if you are eligible to apply, the admission requirements are:

  • A Bachelor degree in a field related to the programme you would like to join.
  • Preferably, applicants should have about three years of practical or research experience since graduation. All applications are, however, considered on their individual merits.
  • The English language requirements for all of IHE Delft's educational programmes.

Apply either by clicking the apply button on the page of the MSc Programme specialization, short course or online course that you wish to apply for and follow the steps indicated below (from step 6 - after logging in), or start by logging in and make the selecting by following the menus, as indicated below (from step 1).

Master Programmes

1. Go to www.un-ihe.org/user 

2. Log in if you already have created an account in the past or register if you are new.

3. Click ''create application''

4. Select ''Master of Science''

5. Select your specialization and start date

6. Enter the required info in: Profile, Address, Education, Work experience, Finance

7. Submit the following attachments (all information should be provided in English):

  • Photocopy of passport or ID*
  • Certified copy academic diploma BSc Degree *
  • Certified copy academic diploma MSc Degree (if applicable)
  • Certified copy academic transcript BSc Degree *
  • Certified copy academic transcript MSc Degree (if applicable)
  • Curriculum Vitae*
  • Letter of Motivation* (explaining why this particular MSc programme/specialization)
  • Letter of Recommendation 1*
  • Letter of Recommendation 2*
  • Result of an English language test (if applicable. For more information, please click here)
  • Employer statement and personal motivation for NFP Fellowship nomination (only if you are eligible and interested in a NFP Fellowship nomination). For more information, please click here

If any of the original documents is not in English we, in addition, need an official English translation by a sworn translator. An asterisk ( * ) indicates information that must be supplied for the form to be accepted! Please make sure you complete all requested information on the application form, even without an asterisk (*)!

8. Complete by submitting your application to IHE Delft at ''Confirmation''.

Short or Online Course

1. Go to www.un-ihe.org/user 

2. Log in if you already have created an account in the past or register if you are new.

3. Click ''create application''

4. Select ''Certificate''

5. Select course and start date

6. Enter the required info in: Profile, Address, Education, Work experience, Motivation, Finance

7. Submit the following attachments (all information should be provided in English)

  • Photocopy of passport or ID*
  • Curriculum Vitae*

8. Complete by submitting your application to IHE Delft at ''Confirmation''.
