What made you decide to study this particular program?
Our country is a country of rivers. We are facing a lot of problems related to water such as floods, salinity, sea level rise, etc. The Netherlands and IHE Delft are famous for water education. I am from a coastal area and I was looking for a program which will help me use my experience to contribute to my country. I found a suitable program here and then chose this program for study.

Can you say something about studying in Delft/the Netherlands? (Cultural and social experiences)
Delft is a calm and quiet place, very charming, very beautiful. It is not crowded, no traffic jam, no polluted air. It is not a big city, but everything is nearby. The peaceful life helps me concentrate in my study properly. The international environment of IHE Delft is really great.

Why should new students/water professionals choose this program?
It is a good program to study about coastal engineering. The experts from IHE Delft, TU Delft, Deltares, famous professionals and researchers give lectures and share their experience. Several field trips and lots of computer exercises are included in this program. It is a good opportunity to learn about the current technology used in Netherlands and compare the scope to work for his/her own country.

Do you have any advice for new students?
Hard work is needed, but overall the life at IHE Delft is enjoyable. All the best!
