Biography

Bich (/bik/) is a PhD candidate at IHE Delft with the Water Management Chair Group and at the Delft Technical University (TUDelft) in the Civil Engineering and Geosciences faculty. She holds a BSc degree in Water - Environment - Oceanography from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi in Vietnam and a joint MSc degree  in Water Resources Engineering from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) in Belgium. Prior to her PhD study, she has worked as a project assistant in the Water Management Chair Group of IHE Delft and contributed to several water accounting studies using satellite remote sensing data products. Her past work experience has made her interested in understanding and improving uncertainty in satellite remote sensing retrieval of hydrological variables.
