COP 26 side event: Collaborative action for climate resilience

During the 26th edition of the UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) the Water and Climate Coalition (WCC) is organizing an event to raise awareness of the importance of collaborative water and climate action. Eddy Moors, Rector of IHE Delft is asked to participate in a panel discussion on the topic 'Challenges and Opportunities of interdisciplinary cooperation on concrete action for interlinking water and climate activities'.

WCC Activity Marketplace

The Water and Climate Coalition (WCC) provides a platform for an integrated water and climate approach focusing on data, information, monitoring systems and operational capacity. This action-focused collaborative platform is called the Activity Marketplace. The Activity Marketplace brings together stakeholders from disparate fields in a bid to galvanize momentum on the water and climate agenda. The Coalition member base is open to a wide range of stakeholders including scientific organisations, the private sector, Non-Governmental Organisations, UN organisations, governmental organisations and civil society. Members of the Coalition commit to tangible integrated water and climate activities implemented alongside and in conjunction with other members.
