IHE Delft and our partners are organizing a youth conference to celebrate World Water Day 2020. It will draw on lessons from the world to deal with drought in the Netherlands.
IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and our partners are pleased to invite you to join us for an online afternoon of talks, and activities about drought – in the Netherlands and other countries. You may not have realized that each summer, as it gets hotter and drier, certain areas of the Netherlands are already experiencing drought and it’s likely to get worse. Let’s see if we can learn some lessons from countries where drought is a persistent problem (and is also getting worse).
You can download the programme here.
How do I attend?
We invite youth from schools, universities and water related organizations to meet to discuss this at IHE Delft. Please note that all sessions and activities will be in English. If you are 18-35 years old and from a university (of applied sciences), or professional from a water related organization please register online.
Registration deadline 18 March 2020
