On 13 October 2014, UNESCO-IHE organizes a Lunch Seminar where Prof. Guang-Hao Chen from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will give a presentation on "Innovative water management through sulphur-based environmental biotechnology applications to the urban water cycle".

Prof. Chen is an environmental engineering professor with more than 25 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment. He has served on the editorial boards of Water Research and IWA journal of AQUA; edited four special issues for Water Science and Technology; delivered more than 27 keynote/invited presentations elsewhere including the plenary keynote for IWA’s LET2010 in Arizona. He has 10 patents in USA, Singapore, and China; and was involved in 180 research papers.

Prof. Chen is an international collaborator in the EU funded project led by UNESCO-IHE "MAS AGUA PARA TODOS" executed in Cuba to contribute to cope with water scarcity in the Caribbean island.
