On the occasion of the first public defense of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate "Environmental Technologies for Contaminated Solids, Soils and Sediments - ETECOS", the Chair Group of Pollution Prevention and Resource Recovery of UNESCO-IHE organizes a mini symposium on Sulfur Cycle Science and Technology.

Pimluck Kijjanapanich is the first to do a Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate PhD Defense. Her research topic is: Sulfate Reduction for Remediation of Gypstferous Soils and Solid Wastes.
