The Jordan Times and Alanbat News published a news item about the collaboration between Al-Balqa’ Applied University, Jordan, and IHE Delft. Al-Balqa’ and IHE Delft work together in several joint research and capacity building projects in the field of water addressing water problems in the second water-poorest country of the world.
On 3 August Al-Balqa’ Applied University President, Prof. Abdallah S. Al-Zoubi, met online with IHE Delft Business Director Dr. Johan Aad van Dijk. They discussed the progress of an important NUFFIC (Dutch Organization for Internationalization of Education) project, with the title "Promoting the development of skills for wastewater treatment and reuse in agriculture in the Higher Technical and Vocational Education and Training Program in Jordan (WATRA)’. They also talked about other ongoing activities and future collaboration. The WATRA project is managed by Dr. Naser Almanaseer, IHE Alumnus and DUPC2 MENA regional coordinator.
