IHE Delft has received a grant to fund the third phase of the Partnership Programme for Water and Development (DUPC3) from the development cooperation agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS).

This third phase of the strategic cooperation with the Ministry aims to support and catalyze meaningful and lasting transformations to socially inclusive and ecologically sustainable water management practices in low- and middle-income countries. Under the programme different kinds of research, education and capacity strengthening projects will be initiated, in particular in collaboration with organizations in the focus regions of the programme, namely the Horn of Africa, the Sahel and the Middle-East. The programme will run for six and a half year (mid 2021 till end 2027) and has a total budget of 46 million euro. For more detailed information on the philosophy, content and structure of the programme, you can check the approved proposal for the programme (find it on the right side or bottom of this page).
