IHE Delft and UNESCO sign agreement

On Friday 15th December, the Rector, Eddy Moors and Business Director, Johan Aad van Dijk of IHE Delft met the Director General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, Assistant Director-General (ADG) for the Natural Sciences, Flavia Schlegel, other UNESCO representatives and H.E. Lionel Veer, the Netherlands Ambassador to UNESCO, for the signing of the new agreement, whereby IHE Delft will operate under the auspices of UNESCO.

The Director General signed on behalf of UNESCO and H.E. Lionel Veer signed on behalf of the Netherlands’ Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.

The agreement must also be ratified by the Netherlands Government, which is hoped to take place by mid 2018.
