IHE Delft Institute for Water Education is proud to announce that Prof. Aaron Wolf has recently joined the Institute as part-time Professor of Water Cooperation & Diplomacy.
Prof. Aaron Wolf is a Professor, Geography in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU) and a world-renowned water diplomacy expert, negotiator and advisor in the fields of water cooperation and water diplomacy. Prof. Aaron Wolf has worked with numerous international organizations, national governments, civil society groups and faith communities and he has been engaged in many of the world’s famous and less well-known water conflicts, helping conflicting parties to find a common ground in the use of their precious shared water resources. Prof. Aaron Wolf will further strengthen IHE’s water diplomacy team and the Water, Peace and Security (WPS) partnership. His skills complement the IHE Delft water diplomacy team’s rich research, teaching and advisory experience, focusing on the scientific understanding of the dynamics and the structures behind water conflict and cooperation.
