A renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement with SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT has been recently signed. This marks the beginning of Phase 4 of the long standing cooperation between UNESCO-IHE and SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT. Many activities are included in the scope of this new phase of the Memorandum of Agreement.
Activities Under the Agreement
SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT will support the Institute's MSc programmes, involving SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT experts as guest lecturers in the Water Management programme, and organizing fieldtrips within the UNESCO-IHE educational programmes.
Joint activities towards seeking potential cooperation opportunities funded by external donors will also be undertaken, especially in the research realm.
SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT will provide scholarships to selected groups of students coming from developing countries.
For the Academic Year 2013-2015 they have made available funding for twenty online courses scholarships related to their interest.
These course include public and private partnerships, policy management in developing countries, urban drainage and sewerage, and solid waste management.
