Orange Knowledge Scholarships for MSc Programmes starting in 2021

For All 18 months Delft-based MSc programmes, the one-year MSc programme in Sanitation and the joint programme in Limnology and Wetland Management, which will start in October 2021, partial OKP scholarships will be made available.

The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) is a Dutch global development programme, available in 37 developing countries and managed by Nuffic, a Dutch non-profit organisation for internationalization in education. Launched mid-2017 and running until mid-2022, it aims to have provided tens of thousands with the possibility to change their future through education and training.

For All 18 months Delft-based MSc programmes, the one-year MSc programme in Sanitation and the joint programme in Limnology and Wetland Management, which will start in October 2021, partial OKP scholarships will be made available.

Before you apply, make sure you review the eligibility criteria carefully and check whether your employer is willing to nominate you for the scholarship. 

For OKP, eligible countries are: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia. Please note that this list has been reduced to 36 countries.

Submit your online application for admission to the MSc specialization of your choice by 24th February 2021 at the latest. In the meantime start already to prepare the documents that need to be submitted to OKP.

Important note

For the OKP scholarships for the MSc programmes 2021, co-funding to the amount of EUR 15,000 will be required. IHE Delft is exploring the possibilities for co-funding from other sources. In case you are able to co-fund this amount yourself (private, employer, other), please inform us. We will then send you a statement which we will request you to complete and return. If IHE Delft approves this statement you can be guaranteed of nomination for an OKP scholarship, which will greatly improve your chances for being selected.

Besides OKP we advise you to check if you are eligible for Rotary or WMO scholarship. In case you are eligible we strongly advise you to apply for this scholarship. If you apply for both OKP and Rotary or WMO, and you meet the criteria for both, IHE Delft may be able to match the scholarships, which will increase your chances for one full combined scholarship.
