Partnerships, Networks and Stakeholder Analysis in the Water Sector

This course discusses the rational of partnerships in the water sector, gives characteristics and functionalities of different partnership modalities, and explains how to successfully manage them.

Preferably experience in a water-related organization. A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Good command of English language

Learning objectives

Upon completion, the participant should be able to:
  1. Critically discuss the different theories and concepts of partnerships and networks in the water sector, transcending scales and sectors.
  2. Access and relate the different practices of designing, implementing and maintaining partnerships
  3. Reflect on new developments and frame questions that appraise the challenges associated with such associations from an interdisciplinary perspective.
  4. Explain different approaches for advanced stakeholder analysis and implement a stakeholder analysis in practice
