The project focuses on providing additional backstopping in managerial tasks to the WaterNet Secretariat and advice on governance issues in order to establish a fully functional, sustainable and independent Network, diversifying funds and establishing itself as a flagship of SADC through their subsidiary status. In the coming three years there will be a strong emphasis on supporting WaterNet sustainability, including supporting the development of research and capacity development proposals and other activities that can increase sustainable financial resources of WaterNet.
