On behalf of the Dutch Universities and Institutes, Nuffic Neso South Africa and the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in South Africa, IHE Delft would like to invite alumni from South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia, to participate in a "Virtual NL Alumni Event" next 17 June 2021, at 18.00 to 19.30hrs (SAST).
An interesting programme have been made that will start with a word of welcome by Sebastiaan Messerschmidt, Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cape Town, and Huba Boshoff, Chief Representative Officer of Nuffic Neso South Africa that will be followed by an inspiring keynote speech by Tania Habimana and Desiree Brouwer, co-founders of Nonzero Africa and alumni of RSM, Erasmus University, who will share their insights into innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
After we will get together, to have an IHE Delft virtual gathering, in a break-out session that will be followed by a plenary toast with everyone in the meeting and another round of virtual networking. There will be ample time to ask your questions and reconnect with your alma mater, fellow IHE Delft alumni, and alumni from other Dutch universities in your region. Alumni from South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia will participate and Alumni Officers from the following universities: TU Delft University of Technology, Erasmus University Rotterdam, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Maastricht University, Nyenrode, Rotterdam School of Management, Tilburg University, University of Groningen, Utrecht University, Wageningen University & Research.

• 6.00 pm Opening by host on behalf of all Dutch universities
• 6.05 pm Welcome by Consul-General Sebastiaan Messerschmidt
• 6.15 pm Introduction on Nuffic Neso South Africa by Huba Boshoff
• 6.20 pm Keynote by Tania Habimana and Desiree Brouwer of Nonzero Africa

• 6.50 pm Updates from your alma mater (per university/institute)
• 7.05 pm Central toast
• 7.10 pm Networking in small groups
