Water Summit for Global Development 2022

Western Europe
TU Delft - Aula

On 15 March 2022 the Water Summit for Global Development takes place. Multidisciplinary science, technology, policy and innovation can improve access to water. The Water Summit aims to build and foster strong interdisciplinary relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders in the water sector. The international water community is welcome at the campus of Delft University of Technology for a full day of inspiration.

The aim of this Summit is to promote water research that contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We believe in implementation, testing our ideas in the field and that low resources should not necessarily mean low tech. The initiators of the Summit believe that all of this can only be done together, and thus focus is needed to build and foster strong, interdisciplinary relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

The scientific committee of the event is formed by Dr. Doris van Halem (Delft University of Technology), Dr. Edo Abraham (Delft University of Technology), Dr. Sergio Salinas Rodriguez (IHE Delft Institute for Water Education), and Dr. Frank van Laerhoven (Utrecht University).

Professionals in the water sector interested in the “global south”, university students at master and PhD level, academics, NGOs, organizations promoting sustainable development are welcome to submit their abstract.
