The World Water Week is hosted and organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) and takes place each year in Stockholm.
The World Water Week has been the annual focal point for the globe's water issues since 1991. UNESCO-IHE will be present with a booth (B 03:20) in the exhibition area (B hall).
Visiting staff include: Andras Szollosi-Nagy, Rector and Stefan Uhlenbrook, Vice Rector Academic and Student Affairs and further include Maarten Blokland, Charlotte de Fraiture, Ken Irvine, Ewoud Kok, Michael McClain, Maria Pascual Sanz, Joop de Schutter, Saroj Sharma, Zaki Shubber and Pieter van der Zaag.
UNESCO-IHE's involvement include the sessions on Collaboration in Networks for Water Capacity Development (Mon 2 Sept), Water and Peace Diplomacy (Wed 4 Sept) and Science and Art of Water Cooperation (Thu 5 Sept).
