GPDP Humanitarian WASH webinar
Join the first webinar in our Humanitarian WASH Graduate Professional Diploma Programme (GPDP). The webinar will feature a keynote lecture titled 'Safely Managed Sanitation in a Humanitarian Context'. During this session, you will receive an introduction to the course and have the opportunity to ask questions about the program, admission criteria and the application process.
Keynote lecture
The presentation aims to provide insights into the concept of safely managed sanitation, exploring the sanitation value chain - encompassing containment, emptying & transport, treatment and reuse. Additionally, it delves into the practical implementation of safely managed sanitation within humanitarian contexts, addressing associated challenges and issues.

About the course
IHE Delft and UNICEF as lead of the Global WASH Cluster, in cooperation with the Humanitarian Sector, have created a Graduate Professional Diploma Programme (GPDP) at IHE Delft to expand access to humanitarian WASH education. Applications are due 1 April 2024.
The GPDP comprises four accredited modules. Participants can opt to take one module as a short, autonomous course or the four-module diploma package. The have been elaborated in a consultation process with UNICEF, IHE Delft and the main humanitarian actors who are part of the steering committee of the project.
